Project Description
The project, the Second Suspension Bridge constructed in the Bosphorus Region, improves the highway connection among the continents; Asia Europe. The project consists of 1 suspension bridge with 2×4 lanes and sidewalks, and a total of 77.1 km peripheral motorway with viaducts and interchanges. BOTEK had been associated with Freeman Fox & Partners, London on the project, which is one of the most elegant, streamlined transportation structures to mark the Bosphorus Region.
For the original structure, BOTEK prepared the preliminary feasibility report, all preliminary works, final design of all highways and connecting roads and interchanges as well as construction supervision. The project also included approaches with complex interchanges to connecting express highways and local streets, service buildings, garages and toll plazas with complete toll facilities and related equipment.
